Structural integrity and tremendous compaction forces generated from a dual hydraulic cylinder system are the key to SP Industries’ leadership in precrusher technology. Conventional compaction systems have difficulty with bulky waste such as pallets, crates, barrels and white goods. The forces generated are not capable of effectively crushing the bulky material within a container. Our precrusher/compactor system reduces these bulky items by crushing the material against a steel gate before packing the waste into a receiver container.

Unlike other manufacturers that add a precrusher gate to existing compactors, SP Industries has designed and built the precrusher/compactor to be a complete machine in itself. The precrusher gate is not an add-on it is part of the structure. This design improves the structural integrity and allows the equipment to operate at the tremendous forces needed to pack as much waste into the container as possible.
